Beachy Keen

We have been coming to the Outer Banks for almost 20 years now and we finally found our "Diamond in the Rough". This is a beautiful home with an elevator that is perfect for my step father whom has a war injury that makes it very difficult to go up and down steps. This home has everything you could ever need in it. The kitchen is the most fully stocked/equipped kitchen we have ever had. The bar area in the basement is like a whole other kitchen. The ice maker is also a big plus. The pool is unbelieveable. The crows nest is perfect for watching the sun rise and looking at the ocean, stars and lighthouse. The two outdoor grills are just perfect for the amount of people that stay in our party. Also, the big dining room table is perfect for our family as we eat dinner together every night. What a perfect location right on the corner not too far from the stores and not too far from the ocean. I am probably forgetting something but what a great value for such a beautiful, beautiful home!

We love Whalehead Beach and have stayed in many different homes in this area. We picked Beachy Keen this year because we heard that Village Realty was a good company and that they furnished the linens and towels and made the beds too. That was so nice!

Great home. Very comfortable and welcoming. We went to the beach every day but one. That day was spent sightseeing --we always go to the Whalehead Club and try to see the wild horses.
